Our Farm

Nestled in the rolling green hills of Robertson, NSW, Clavering Hill is a farm where rich red volcanic soil, high rainfall and cool misty mornings create the perfect environment for premium pasture-raised produce, including Angus beef, Wiltipoll lambs and farm fresh eggs. The farm's name honours Clavering, a small village in Essex, England, where our ancestor, Thomas Whyman was born. Thomas set out from Clavering onboard the 'Sultana' in 1856, as an 18-year-old free settler in search of a new life.  Arriving in Bega, he began a career in dairy farming, laying the foundation for our own journey.

At Clavering Hill, we farm using regenerative farming practices building healthy soils and ensuring the land thrives for generations to come.  For us, farming isn't just a business - it is our way of life.  We believe that healthy land grows healthy food and we take pride in raising our animals with care and respect.

With produce from Clavering Hill, you're not just tasting the best of the Southern Highlands - you're supporting a farm that's working to restore the land, care for animals and produce food that's truly good for you and the environment.
