Clavering Hill Farm Open Days

A chance to see where your beef comes from

When our latest pasture-raised Angus beef boxes were ready, we invited customers to come straight to the farm to collect them — and to see for themselves where it all begins.

People arrived to pick up their boxes and stayed to wander, chat, and take in the place. We opened the gates, and shared a bit about how we farm here at Clavering Hill — raising cattle on pasture, looking after the soil, and working with the seasons.

There were samples of our beef, lots of conversation, and plenty of curiosity about what goes into producing good beef. Alongside our own produce, we also shared a few local favourites — locally brewed beer, local wine, and Robertson’s famous potatoes — giving everyone a taste of what this region does so well.

The fire pit was going, kids were busy feeding the cows, and there was a real sense of people settling in and enjoying a slower pace for a while.

For many, it was the first time connecting the box in their hands to the land it came from.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along and supported us. We look forward to opening the gates again soon for our Winter Harvest.
